The Story

Kerrera is a small, lush island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland.

Kerrera, and its restored 16th Century Gylen Castle, is a familiar site to anyone who sails in or out of the port of Oban, a picturesque, bustling port on the west coast of Scotland.

Being so close to the mainland, tourism is an important industry for Kerrera's small population. Island farming includes the unmistakable, shaggy-coated, large-horned Highland Cattle, famous for featuring in so many iconic images of Scotland.
