How to order from MaeVona

  • Visit our Find a MaeVona Retailer page to see which store is closest to your location.
  • If there is not a store close enough to you, just contact us and we will find a local store closer to you, for you to view your favorite MaeVona designs in person.
  • If the store in your area does not have a particular style in stock, please ask the store to contact us to have the style(s) sent to the store for viewing.
  • When selecting a diamond or gemstone there is much to consider in making the correct choice for you and your budget, and your local MaeVona retailer will be happy to assist you with your search. Keep in mind the designed center shape and dimensions of your favorite MaeVona style when selecting your stone.
  • If you currently have a diamond or gemstone that you would like to set into a MaeVona style, consult with your local retailer or contact us directly to ensure the dimensions, shape and cut will fit.
  • Nearly all MaeVona styles have existing matching bands that are dedicated to fit that particular engagement ring. Other matching bands can be custom made for you. Some of our wedding rings fit several engagement rings (see Matching Items on each engagement ring page). You can also mix and match color and metal combinations, as well as plain shank or pave-set diamond shank, with one wedding band, or with two stacked bands, worn one on each side of the engagement ring, in a three-ring set.
  • Delivery time from the day you place your order to the day you receive your ring is usually 2 to 3 weeks, or slightly more depending on modifications / custom work etc that you might require. Just ask your local retailer for more info.

FAQ

Q: I want to see your jewelry in person but I do not live near any of your retailers. What should I do?
A: Just because you do not live near one of our retailers does not mean you can't enjoy MaeVona jewelry! We would be happy to arrange to have your favorite pieces sent to a store near you (that we have previously worked with) and you will be able to place your order at that store. Simply call us on 1-888-MAEVONA / 212-557-7300, or send us an inquiry through our website.

Q: If a store does not have the item I want to see, what should I do?
A: We can easily send any of your favorite MaeVona pieces to the store in your area for you to see in person. Simply let a sales professional know which designs you would like to see and they will take care of all the arrangements.

Q: How can I find out the price of an item?
A: Call us on 1-888-MAEVONA / 212-557-7300 for an estimated price quote - or you can contact one of our authorized retailers. Please keep in mind that our retailers decide final price.

Q: Does MaeVona have a catalogue?
A: Yes! You can download or view our interactive catalogue right here on our website. As always, feel free to call us on 1-888-MAEVONA / 212-557-7300 for more details.

Q: Are the diamonds included with the ring? What if I already have my own diamond?
A: The center stone is not included, which gives you the option to supply your own stone, or purchase it at the same store you purchase the ring. Once you have your stone we would be happy to set it into the ring for you. All side stones and accent diamonds under 0.25ct are included with the ring.

Q: What quality diamonds do you use for your accent stones?
A: Due to our high quality standards, our gemologists individually select each accent diamond. We go to extraordinary measures to ensure that our accent diamonds are perfectly matched. The diamonds we select have an excellent cut grade and are at least G color, VS clarity. If you have a diamond quality preference, we can usually accommodate special requests.

Q: Are your diamonds conflict-free?
A: Although we do not include the center diamonds in our jewelry, we are confident that all of the accent diamonds we use are conflict free and are obtained in a socially responsible manner. We only do business with vendors that adhere to the Kimberly Process.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive my ring once I order it?
A: Generally, it takes approximately 3 to 4 weeks to complete an order. Please allow additional time for special adjustments or new models.

Q: Can I purchase the jewelry online or directly from MaeVona?
A: MaeVona does not sell jewelry through our website or directly to the public. Our jewelry is sold exclusively through MaeVona authorized retailers. You are welcome to visit an authorized retailer or contact a store to place a phone order.

Q: Can I set a colored gemstone instead of a diamond into one of your rings?
A: Of course! Contact us or one of our retailers for advice on which setting style will best suit your gemstone choice.

Q: What metals do you use in your jewelry?
A: Our jewelry is available in your choice of Platinum, 18 karat rose gold, 18 karat yellow gold or 18 karat white gold. Many of our pieces can be made in a combination of more than one metal, which results a unique two-tone piece.

Q: Where is your jewelry made?
A: Our designer, Maeve Gillies, is from Scotland, but all of our jewelry is handmade in New York City.

Q: Is your showroom open to the public?
A: Our Madison Avenue showroom is for trade purposes only, and is not open to the public. Please call us on 1-888-MAEVONA / 212-557-7300 and we will gladly help you find a retailer in your area.

Q: What does MaeVona mean?
A: MaeVona is the Celtic version of designer Maeve Gillies' name. In Celtic mythology, Queen Maeve is the ultimate warrior queen, who fearlessly leads her troops in a speeding chariot. In Gaelic - the traditional language of Scotland - Maeve means "the intoxicating one".

Q: What is a Goddess Ring?
A: A Goddess Ring is MaeVona's version of a right hand ring. Our Goddess Rings express the wearer's uniqueness, personality and style. Each Goddess ring is named after a powerful goddess from Celtic mythology.
