Texa is a small island located off the coast of Islay in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. Like many of Scotlandís islands, it is currently uninhabited, but was once home to an ecclesiastical settlement during the 13th and 14th centuries, and was populated until the 19th century. Modern-day Texa is awash with bluebells in the early summer and herds of wild goats can be seen playing on ancient settlements.
