Description: Round brilliant-cut engagement ring named after the Scottish island of Seil. Flowing, asymmetrical lines encapsulate three graduated channel-set diamonds on either side of the center stone.

the story for the design

The Story

Seil is a large island in the Southern Hebrides just off the mainland of Scotland, and is the most northern of the Slate Islands. Currently home to around 500 people, Seil is connected to the mainland by the historic single-arched Clachan bridge. Once home to a vibrant slate-mining community, visitors can visit the old quarry town Ellenabeich, walk on cobblestone streets and visit worker's cottages. The surrounding sea is a vibrant marine home to seals, dolphins and whales.
