The Story

Paisley is a Scottish town in the historic county of Renfrewshire, in the central lowlands of Scotland. In the 12th century, Paisley came to prominence when the important medieval Paisley Abbey was established.
By the 19th century, Paisley had become known for its progressive textile manufacturing and as a center of the weaving industry. The iconic, world-renowned floral-inspired Paisley pattern originated in Paisley at this time.
