The Story

Rora is part of the outstanding Orkney Islands, a two-hour ferry ride from the northernmost tip of Scotland. At Rora Head, impressive red sandstone cliffs face south-west across the Atlantic Ocean.

The cliffs around Orkney endure some of the wildest weather in the UK.

Orkney in October: a divine ceilidh of the elements - the wind plays music, the stormy seas dance and the air tastes like whisky.
