The Story

The wild poppy is a stunning scarlet flower with large, showy petals and a deep black center. Throughout history, the poppy has been used as a symbol of sleep and remembrance. In Roman mythology, poppies even symbolized resurrection. Poppies grow wild in fields and gardens all across Scotland, and are loved for their instantly recognizable color and beautiful, billowy petals.
