the story for the design

Vaila is one of the Shetland Isles and is home to an organic sheep farm. Although the current population is very small, Vaila has been inhabited for thousands of years and contains a Neolithic house site as well as remains from the Bronze Age. In the 1890ís, Herbert Anderton, a Yorkshire mill owner built Vaila Hall, which is considered to be one of the finest mansions in all of Shetland. Vaila is still accessible today, where tourists can take in the view of over 100 different species of wildflowers.
