the story for the design

Stroma is an uninhabited island just off the northern coast of Scotland. Despite its small size, Stroma was once home to over 550 people; evidence of this previous population is everywhere, in the form of old houses and churches. The Stroma lighthouse is still fully operational, to guide ships through wild waters, and around the infamous 'Swilkie' whirlpool, close to Stroma's rocky coastline.

Stroma, like so many Scottish islands, is a nature lover's paradise, acting as a conservation area for rare plants, and an idyllic home for a flock of happy sheep!
